General

This privacy policy is intended to inform the users of the website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator.

As the website operator, we take data protection very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and only in accordance with the statutory provisions. We recommend that you read our data protection declaration at regular intervals, as it may also change due to the constant further development of our website or offers or due to legal or official requirements.

In this privacy policy, we use terms (e.g. "personal data" or "processing") that are defined in Art. 4 of the DS-GVO.

Access data

Based on our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DS-GVO), we collect data about accesses to our website and store them in the log files of the server.

The following data is logged in this way:

    Requested page
    Referrer URL
Date and time of the server request
    Status of the server request
    Amount of data transferred
    IP address
User agent (browser & operating system)

These log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored solely for security reasons, e.g. to be able to clarify cases of abuse, and is not merged with other data sources. If data must be retained for evidentiary reasons, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified. The same settings and rules also apply to the data servers "daten.verwaltungsportal", "fotos.verwaltungsportal.de", "vorschau.verwaltungsportal.de" and "layout.verwaltungsportal.de", which belong to the backend system of our website provider.

Cookies

This website uses cookies to increase the usability, functionality and security of the website. Cookies are small files that are stored on your terminal device. Your browser accesses these files. This allows to distinguish the individual browser from others. Thus, through the use of cookies, the website can offer functions that would not be possible without cookies. This applies in particular to simple menu navigation and other individual website settings. The cookies for these functions usually have a maximum lifetime of 24 hours and are not used to identify visitors.

Modern browsers offer the option of not allowing cookies and thus generally deactivating them for one or all web pages. When using this browser function, it is not guaranteed that all functions of this website can be used without restrictions.

Collection and processing of personal data

In principle, the use of our website is possible without providing personal data. However, should the user wish to use a function that requires the provision of personal data, the website operator will only process the personal data with a corresponding legal basis or with the consent of the data subject. Personal data is any information that can be attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person - for example, your name, e-mail address or telephone number.

On our site, we offer a contact form. There, we process personal data such as name, e-mail, telephone number and content information from the form. We only process this personal data with the express permission of the data subjects and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations and in compliance with the DS-GVO. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and optimizing our online offering.

Handling of contact data

If you contact us through the contact options offered, your information will be processed for the purpose of processing and responding to your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Handling of comments, contributions and forms

If you make contributions or comments on this website, your IP address may be stored. This is done on the basis of legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO and serves the security of us as the operator of this website. Should your comment or contribution violate applicable law, we as the operator can be prosecuted for this, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the actual author.

SSL encryption

If the SSL encryption of this website is activated, sensitive data that you transmit to us via this website (e.g. via contact form) cannot be read by third parties. You can recognize an active encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If encryption is active, the data you transmit to us via the website cannot be read by third parties.

Use of a 2-click solution for iframe integrations

A 2-click solution for so-called iframe integrations is activated on our website. This function ensures that when you call up a page of our website that contains such integrations of third-party websites, no connection is yet established with the servers of the provider of the respective website. By clicking on the window, however, you can display the content and thereby confirm the deviating data protection conditions of the integrated websites. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the third-party websites, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the data protection information of the relevant website or provider.

Use of social media links

The sharing functions on the website are so-called share links. Since these are pure links and not an integration, they do not pose any data protection concerns. A call to the social networks only takes place if you explicitly click or activate these links.

Newsletter

On our website we offer a newsletter that informs you about current events and offers. To subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide a valid e-mail address. You will then be asked by e-mail to confirm your subscription via an activation link (using the so-called double opt-in procedure). Otherwise, your e-mail address will be automatically deleted from the newsletter system after 48 hours. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you agree to receive it and to the explained procedure.

For sending the newsletter, we use the system of our website. The e-mail address is not passed on to third parties.

Revocation and unsubscription: You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and thus unsubscribe from the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, your e-mail will be deleted from the newsletter system immediately. At the end of each newsletter you will find the link to cancel or unsubscribe.

Google Recaptcha

To protect against misuse of forms, Google's ReCaptcha can be used, whereby the optional parameter "remoteip" is not set in the API query. When using the captcha, your browser downloads required data from Google. In the process, your browser establishes a connection to Google's servers, so that Google gains knowledge of the call and your IP address via our website. The operator of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google's Recaptcha is in the interest of preventing misuse of forms and is intended to affect the usability of the website as little as possible. The captcha offers one of the most user-friendly captchas on the market due to mostly automatic recognition and a large variety of functions and thus represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO.

When calling the Google Recaptcha, deviating data protection provisions of the Google company apply. For more information, please visit https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps

This website can use Google Maps to display site plans. When calling up a site plan from Google Maps, data is transmitted to Google's servers and stored there. The operator of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

When calling up Google Maps, deviating data protection provisions of the Google company apply. For more information, please visit https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Google Web Fonts

For the uniform display of fonts, this website can use the so-called Google Web Fonts. When using these fonts, your browser downloads the required fonts from our website system and stores them in the so-called browser cache in order to display the fonts correctly. During this process, your browser does not establish a connection to Google's servers, so that Google does not gain any knowledge about the call or your IP address.

Rights of the user

As a user, you have the right to request free information about what personal data has been stored about you. In addition, you have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data processed restricted or deleted. If applicable, you can also exercise your right to data portability, insofar as this is technically possible and does not affect the rights and freedoms of other persons. If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Deletion of data

As a user, you have a right to have your data deleted, unless this conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer necessary for its intended purpose or if there are no legal retention periods. If deletion is not possible because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and no longer processed for other purposes.

Right of objection

Users of this website may exercise their right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time.

If you wish to correct, block, delete or obtain information about the personal data stored about you, or if you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or if you wish to revoke any consent you have given, please contact a member of staff using the contact details provided above.
